Worth it... I would not be able to stand having a set of controls on my dash that didn't do anything...

And once you get used to using the volume toggle, it gets to be second nature... Can't imagine not having it...

Just do what I did with my dash controls.

Sent through my phone. So I don't know if the link will work.
DIY for this, please?
I started a write-up after a few people asked for one on this site but I got lazy and lost the diy somewhere. Maybe I might make another one

Still waiting. Not gonna lie, thinking I'd rather do this than use the controls for audio lol.

Hellooooo?

For crying out loud, do it all, so you can do what you want, when you want. If you look again at my post above, the Modifry and my HU does it all. I can mess with the HU by hand if I want. I can play with the dash controls (-it all works-may be slightly different than original-) if I want. I can play with my Note 4 (mounted on a nice flex stalk) and control the entire enchilada from it via seamless bluetooth if I want. Stream Pandora, Spotify, or Radio Moscow. You can also make direct connections with a player, flash drive, or chip. Forgot to mention a relic from the past: CDs, MP3s etc.

Why make something so easy hard for a couple of bucks?

Because the absolute minimum slowest shipping option is currently $130 CAD shipped. Honestly, for using the HU controls for more than a year that just isn't worth it. Not when I'm adding a sub/box/amp/upgraded wiring. One day I may do it, but that premium is out to lunch if you ask me.

Plus, I'd much prefer a cheap/free way to unlock the passenger door or open my garage. One day I'll get this adapter, and likely that day will be when the CAD $ is't complete garbage lol.

Haha with the mod I did, it will probably never work as dash controls again. You would have to buy another one. But I've been working on the diy here and there. I'll get back on it this weekend.
