No headlight indicator light on dash?

I noticed my 2005 model doesn't have the green headlight/low beam indicator light in the instrument panel. Is that normal? I've attached a picture I found online and it shows the light I'm mentioning but my car doesn't seem to have it. Was it standard on all S2000's or do I probably have a burnt out bulb?

My 05 does not have the indicator either.

Have not had that indicator on either of my 2005s.

This is not a USDM dash as there is a brake icon rather than the word BRAKE to the left of the battery icon. I'm thinking this is a Canadian dash. Regardless the headlight icon does not exist on my 2006 dash either and it is not mentioned in any USDM owner's manual I checked.

It's strange how it was omitted. I know most cars from the 80's and 90's had the indicator light. When I bought my car, the previous owner told me stories about how he would drain his battery because he would forget to turn off his headlights. I didnt make sense to me but seeing how that indicator light doesn't exist, I can see how some people could forget their headlights we're still on.

The USDM car has a very persistent tone when you leave the lights on. I don't know how anyone does not notice that they are on when exiting the vehicle.

I think my indicator tone must not be working then. I noticed that my "left keys in ignition" tone works intermittently also.

My 2 month old Ford Expedition has a green headlight indicator on the dash as well as a giant fog light icon. First car I've owned twith either although my wife's cars have had it. I've disabled the annoying bright foglight icon and thought the headlight icon was OK until 6 hours of night driving last week. This icon is coming out too. In this vehicle these are all controlled by some computer via the ODB2 buss and there is some software that can be downloaded to tweak the settings. The truck did not come with DRLs (shocking for a 2017) and this same software let me enable the LED fog lights as DRLs.

That must be a cluster from the UK, AP2 style temperature and fuel gauges with a 9K redline. Wish it was Canadian! :tipwink:

Yep, UK is probable since the gauges are in mph not kph. And the red line is for the AP1 engine. Ain't USDM for sure though.
