OEM alarm with siren
Honda uses the same alarm unit in all models of vehicles, with different wiring kits offered for each model . For some models (Accord, for example), a siren kit is one of those options. Since the alarm unit is obviously capable of driving the siren, I would love to hook one up. Problem is, the S2000 alarm wiring harness doesn't provide a socket to do so. So, this will involve finding the appropriate output at the alarm unit, adding wires to the socket, routing those wires to the engine bay, and finding a safe place to mount the siren.
Does anyone know if this has been successfully done before? If so, does anyone have a wiring diagram that gives pinouts for the alarm connector? Or, does anyone have access to an Accord wiring harness that can determine which pin from the alarm goes to the siren connector? Any info would be appreciated before I delve too deep into this.

I'm also planning to add a siren on the factory alarm. I know it is optional. I saw the diagram of the S2000 alarm at the dealer but forgot to take some notes. Anyone have the factory S2000 alarm installation manual?

I have the alarm installation instructions, but they don't go into the details we need for this (just connect this socket to this socket). Looks like we might have to play around with the voltmeter a bit, find out what correct output is for the siren. I wonder if the alarm generates the siren wave, or the siren unit? Hmm.....anyone have wiring diagrams for the alarm unit?
