It's probably the regulator but if you have a multimeter you could check to see if the switch is bad.

This thread will help you swap out the regulator https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/809...egulatormotor/

Doh... this is NOT stupid... I must have hit the lock when I cleaned the car, and my window stopped working. It's been out for 2 weeks and I checked this site after the dealer said they couldn't look at it for a week... I've owned this car nearly 15 years and didn't even know this WAS a child lock! And why have a child lock at all?...weird.

Many thanks!

Definitely not stupid as it has been the issue in many, many cases.

Probably required by law like the sticker that say child seats should really be in the back seat. Besides, you've never had childish (even if not a child) passengers who shouldn't be futzing with the controls on the passenger side? Or a dog that could have stepped on the switch?

Yikes!
So happy I didn’t have to go down this road.
Fortunately, my door window problem was solved by turning off the child safety switch.
Checked here before calling to make a service appointment & so glad I did.
Thank you Ragnarok043 & s2ki community!

I have to join the ranks of the people here whose passenger window just quit,....pulled out both switches and prices them...and then i went to the forum and wallah....i have my solution, I feel stupid and it was the child safety switch that I never use, it just eventually turned itself off...and what is so stupid about it is the drivers window still works, but the driver's switch does not....now all is good, thank you again......all of you who have suffered this problem, and found the simple solution...

I'm both extremely embarrassed and relieved.
