My goodness, I think I would need binoculars to see the street names on that little screen
My .02 on getting the headunit to sit back a bit further. There are probably a tone of wires in the harness that you don't need like RCA for rear monitor speaker outputs and inputs etc.. Plus if you are using an amp, you can get rid of all the speaker wires coming out of the new head unit.
To do this, just use a pin or something to remove the un used wires from the harness clip. I had to do the same thing on my AVIC-D2 to get it to go back just a bit more. It works.
