It depends on where you go. I think its no more than like 30 bucks but not sure. I do all my installation. Its really easy

Im looking for a headunit to replace my stock one. I want it to play CDs, iPhone capable, and a built-in bluetooth...

Any suggestions?

Im debating with the Alpine 103-BT and Alpine 125-BT & 126-BT

Also, looks like Crutchfield is cheapest place to buy since its free shipping and comes w/ a harness. Any other sites I should check?

One thing I probably should haave already mentioned about head units, is you're gonna want to go to modifry.com and check to make sure they sell an adapter for your specific head unit so you don't lose your dash controls. But brands like alpine and jvc are pretty well covered. Seems that their IR adapters cover a lot of models. Otherwise I would just compare and contrast what they come with and find the one that looks like it fits you

i noticed a couple people ave dynamat on their trunk lids. is there a thread on this? the search button returns nothing on sound deadening or dynamat. How well does it reduce the trunk rattle for those of us running larger sub woofers.

anyone try this 10" sub box for the tool well?
It's all made out of MDF. They didn't use any fiberglass so I don't know if that will make any difference.
It's 75$ shipped on Ebay versus Darksidesub.com 200$

^You only changed the head unit? Speakers and everything else stock? Does just replacing the head unit improve sound quality?

I like the color, it matches the tach nicely.

I thought I would share my work in progress, hopefully I get it done in a few more days! I didnt want to go to overboard on the custom build out because I wanted to still have some space, but I wanted to replace all the ugly carpet that comes in the truck so i decided with red and black vynal. My first ever custom build out and im pretty happy with how it has come out so far

Edit: amp rack finished and installed, cut the back wall so the trunk would close. Just have to wire it all up and it'll be done!

It opens and closes, but the door kind of sticks on the big center knob. I returned mine after a week and replaced it with a Sony DSX-300BT, much happier w/ it.
