S2000 Dials flickering and frozen
Hello all!
I had the following occur as I was driving.
I researched and believed it could be a earth.
I cleaned the dirty earthing cable from battery but I am not convinced this is the issue as car starts fine.
Don't get the usual flickers reported when the Alternator is on its way out.
I am thinking it is the wiring under the dash as I also have random experiences of the volume control changing radio channel when trying to increase volume.... then increasing volume when trying to decrease the volume!
Any guidance would be much appreciated :-)

Here's a photo of it, with engine out. It's the corroded bolt on the head.

Has the Exact pic in it.
Going to try and get a ratchet spanner on it and see how I go *fingers crossed*

in US cars, ground 501, a bolt located behind the left kick panel, is common to both the gauges and
the dash audio controls (per the S2000 Electrical Troubleshooting Manual). Seems likely to be the same
in UK cars, but not sure.

I will check this out today.
had the issue occur again on the weekend. I found 2 random thin black cables that comes off the main loom under driver dash cabling and had cabling showing which I thought may have been causing issues so I taped the up and the issue still occurred.
Will see if that earth is in bad health... I hope it is so I can put this issue to bed!

So I took a look at the wiring today under kick-plate.
Time of interest:
0:01 - 0:15 - I am looking at a random pair of wires that comes from rear of car but terminates nowhere?
0:20 - I check what I assume to be G501 ? - All looks tights and healthy.
0:45 - You see the 2 black wires I said I taped up as they were spliced.
The rest of the video I pan across the wiring and cannot really tell if anything is out of place. Any other advice guys or is the next place to check the rear of the cylinder head?
Thanks for your help!

New development.
I have found I can recreate the issue on demand by pulling the window switches up and holding them when the windows are fully up.
Seems to be a electrical load triggering it.
Car going in for ALL fluids swap tomorrow and Valve clearance check at Honda. Have asked them to check the Earth of Engine and do a battery test....
Results to follow!
