My point about alarm effectiveness being proven in real time with these anecdotes. The public cares more about seeing harm come to your annoying sound machine than harm come to thieves intent on taking it.

 

I tried to find a yt video but they all were just clips with someone else narrating over them. but yeah that one was golden.

I know we are being of little help to the OP here though! Sorry about that but maybe someone will chime in that does have a newer system they would recommend. I havent heard people talk about security systems in a while on here really or in many places. I think people kinda lost hope in them due to thieves not caring and getting so brave and stupid that they will just steal it or the contents while the alarm is blaring.

 

Hence suggestion for diy tracking system w remote killswitch instead if alarm
