As you guys know I've done a few double din installs in the dash of the s2000 and most have turned out very good but quite frankly for 2011, these DIN sized decks with it's old school optical DVD players are way out-dated.

For my 09 GPW, our initial plans was to use a Apple iPad in the dash of the s2000 but we were waiting for the 2nd gen version with the USB to be released first.

Just last night I was at Costco doing some shopping and ran across the Samsung Galaxy Tablet! Immediately some ideas started turning in my head....the iPad was a perfect device but one problem is the width even when turned sideways barely clears the airbag. The Samsung Tablet however has a 7" display and would easily fit in the s2000 dash area

I'm going to do some measurements tonight but I'm quite excited!!

that looks like a cool idea, have you ever seen that video where they combine velcro and the ipad? it doesn't sound that cool but then it makes so much sense

i like the form factor of the Galaxy Tab but its still a little laggy, not sure if its because of Samsungs Touch Wiz interface or maybe Froyo is just not optimized for tablets but ill wait and see how Gingerbread does.
