Default Simple Question

I need to remove the factory radio so that I can connect my ipod cable. I also want to run the cable to the glovebox. I tried the search function - but frankly don't have the time (I'm at work) to go through 60 pages of search results.

If someone knows or has done this can you point me in the right direction to some pics and instructions.

Thanks - AK

To remove factory radio:
Get a flathead screwdriver or knife and wrap it in electrical tape to prevent scratching. Pop the radio door assembly out by putting the screwdriver in between the vents right above the radio and the dash. I believe there is four clips. Then, unscrew the 4 screws holding the cd player in place. There will be an antenna connected and a pigtail. Take them both out. Voila. BTW...you might want to put a rag over the shift knob and shift knob trim to prevent scratching.

for wiring.... the how to is stickied at the top of the electronics forum. ( darkknight1999's 'How-To' threads, S2000 wiring, ...)

here's the link that you need... ignore the parts that don't apply to your needs.

edit: here's another thread that shows a bit more wiring as well... http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=155135
