I own a 2007 Honda S2000. I installed a Pioneer headunit in it DEH-P6000UB. I would like to swap out my OEM door speaker to Pioneer ones. I want to purchase the best sounding speakers(loud and nice) Any help will be great. Please tell me what you guys have in your S2K's.

dependent if you want a component set-up or not... if so i would say you can't go wrong with Alpine... i had bought some pioneer, kenwood stuff etc before, but nothing can beat the all round crisp sound of alpine speakers....

if you want loud, in my experience, kenwood seem to produce strong outputs while still maintaining the quality... and i have built some custom 1000rms+ sound installs tooo

I just got the Kappa Perfects 08 model. The tweeters are freakin big and great sounding. I got them custom installed becuase the tweeters were as large as the stock panel to fit them on. They sound wonderful with my junk alpine deck with only 17watts RMS. I cant imagine them with a good two channel

How many more manufacturers do you need?? Go to a local shop and listen for yourself. It's all in the listeners ears. What sounds good to me may sound like crap to you. Me...Polk Momo...MMC6500. You'll find most on here prefer Alpine and Focal though.

I wouldn't go with a 3 way, it's only a 6.5" component, no need to over complicate things stick with a 2 way set-up. You're not going to gain any mid-range clarity by going with more drivers, and your only employing a more complicated crossover, chances are high most 3- way's will sound worse then comparably 2 way's. I'd also stick with components, not co-axial, install the drivers in the factory locations.

I went with the Polk Momo MMC6500, they're ok, but a direct fit(minus minor grinding to the tweeters housing) and seem to tolerate a lot of abuse. The tweeter is a little hot for my liking, even with the crossover set to the minus 3 dB setting, minus 6 dB is too much attenuation and 0 dB is painful to listen to. Fortunately the deck I'm using allows good adjustment of the "highs."
