Looks nice, horrible taste in music. A different music genre might have shown the sub off better but the install looks clean. Does the bass sound better in person? The video sounds like either the gain needs to be adjusted or the amp isn't providing enough power; but again, that could just be the effects of the video.
The finished outcome looks awesome. For those that have the hardtop permanently installed or for fair weather cruisers this seems like a great idea! Preserving valuable cargo space is important for a lot of people. I'm sure the video doesn't do the sound justice and I'm glad you were able to achieve your goals at a considerable cost savings.
Nice Work and enjoy your tunes!

for 94 Hours! I spent countless commutes blasting that song and album out of my 91 Accord Wagon driving home from college over a twisty mountain road, pretending I was driving an S2000. I swore up and down that one day I'd do it in a real S2000. Happy to say my life is now complete.
I've also maintained to anyone who will listen that 94 Hours combined with shots of WRC footage would make the best commercial Subaru could ever hope to air.

Iv had this idea forever it seems good to see more people doing it. Mine would be a little different, id like to do two 8s or one 12 on the passenger side since theres more depth. Or one 10 or 8 under the tray on the spare tire "shelf" so i can keep my soft top

Awesome build... currently trying to find a way of installing a 10" sub in my s2000... bass while driving is probs unbeatable... you def miss it once it's gone!!
Just wandering if you painted the board black or wrapped it in some form of leather or something?
Also ever get scared of the window shattering from the sub??

Oh sorry about that! I knew I was forgetting something in the build story. Yes, I wrapped it some leather like vinyl that matches the rest of the interior almost perfectly! It looks OEM!

Shattering the window? Hah, no. I mostly listen to rock, and its turned way down so it doesn't over power the speakers, so I'm not too worried. Even playing the rap where it was beating hard, the window did not appear to be flexing. It looks pretty strong.
