Put a Meter on it & find out if its BLOWN. It sounds like a lose or crimped wire or a problem with the Amp itself. Just my 2 cents. Neutered Sputniks, I know Him from the Car Audio Forums & trust his 2 cents as well Besides I am a MECP Installer.
Because...I find it strange that he's all that well read on car audio when he:
1) Doesn't know that Stereo Integrity is a manufacturer of high SQ subs, producing some of the lowest distortion subs available
2) Doesn't know that a sealed enclosure has to be...sealed...for the subwoofer to function properly
I mean, just sayin'...
Whatever, like I said...Testmonkey certainly showed me up. It's a good thing he didn't actually read my post or he might not have been able to do that, but he skipped all the pertinent parts, ignored the parts he got wrong previously, and somehow that made me the ignorant one
I've had enough of this pissing contest in Ryan's thread. Suffice it to say that your boy, Testmonkey, has his info wrong and he would be well advised to spend a bit more time on Google than on his car audio forums, because apparently they just aren't doing the job.
