^ looks like your air pump was removed to make room for your IC piping.

Yes an evo 9 intercooler, sorry just for being a noob but what does the air pump do?

teamvalorracing 01-05-2011 08:57 AM

it was an emissions thing. useless to you now.

i recognized that IC. i traded in my MR Evo for my s2000. best trade i have ever made. mitsu quality and longevity = FTL.

Thanks, i thought so, car had another turbo kit from previous owner and he took that out before he sold the car to me, didn't notice those wire till now. Manage to fit the evo intercooler in there from my previous Evo haha.

i went from two s2000 to an evo MR too then i sold the evo MR and got the s2000 and turboed it. I love the s2000! the evo was a great car but to much maintanance and the car somehow seem cheap to me(maybe the cheap interior design) even though it cost more than the s2000.

^i have said the same thing over and over! lol
they are. they are cheaply done imo. and the overall engineering of the parts/workability/etc is just lacking.

yep, the only good thing about it is the motor, and it handling abilities. everything else is poorly design.
