What are these wires Radio/headunit
Bought a salvaged 2006 s2k at auction. The previous owner had a serious sub and amp setup but conveniently left the wires but no equipment.
So I just rewired the harness so the aftermarket radio will work with existing speakers. However I found a separate harness tucked in there with a tag called HON1 and I see that there is another end in the wiring harness unused bundled together. So what does the separate cable harness do? I assume it was for some integration module? And what does the other end do that's in the dash. See picture:
Any help appreciated!

It's probably the harness for an adapter to play an iPod through the OEM headunit's accessory CD changer port.
I believe more than one maker of these used the model "HON1" but I'm not sure... GROM, PAC, and USA-Spec are
makers of this type of adapter,
There are a number of interfaces to use the dash controls with an aftermarket headunit - Modifry makes one specific
to the s2000, while others make generic ones with lower prices but less functionality.
