2002 ap1 blew should I rebuild or remanufactured?
So I have a 2002 with 60000 miles I was taking third to 9k and very close to that my clutch broke and threw my car in neutral. Well I was giving full throttle and over reeves my engine. The mechanic said all four of my spark plugs broke and I either need a rebuild or a new engine.

your mechanic said all 4 of your spark plugs broke? uh find a new mechanic
if you were in 3rd gear revving to 9k and your clutch broke? lol what does that even mean your TO bearing broke? your FW exploded (hope you still have your legs, your clutch disc shredded? your engine would stop revving due to the ECU
what you describe does not sound like a mechanical over-rev
you can stand on the gas pedal in neutral and it will bounce off the rev-limiter, if you werent on it for that long i dunno how you broke your spark plugs.... most people would shit their pants when they saw their tach go BANG BANG BANG for 10 seconds
