AEM EMS O2 Feedback options

Dear good evening

I have a AEM EMS installed, but after I turn on O2 feedback, cut off don’t work more.

How can I do configure the options of the O2 feedback for continue to have cut off in decelerations?Waiting returns, thanks.

This can be caused by various issues. If your TPS is calibrated incorrectly then it wont realize it should be cutting fuel.

There are quite a few options under the O2feedback tab that control when the ecu will cut off fuel. TPS, REVS, Coolant temp and engine load of the top of my head.

Is this a AEM EMS V2? If so do the throttle calibration wizard and if you want you can send me your map and i will have a look for you if you want.

Thanks Mark, for suggestions, but later O2 feedback turn on, cut-off fuel worked every decelerations...

Follow the informations below:

Parameters Decel :

Fuel off above 1500 rpm
Fuel off below 25 kPa MAP
Fuel off below 0,8 % TPS
Fuel coolant min - 128 ºC

Parameters O2 feedback:

O2 FB Control = check
O2 FB + limit = +10%
O2 FB - limit = - 10%
O2 FBGain = 1
O2 FB Coolant = 50 °C
O2 FB max = 5000 rpm

Do have anything is wrong?
O2 FB min = 500 rpm

Accel O2 FB inhibit = 196 mS

Decel O2 FB inhibit = 196 mS

Accel fuel load = 85 kPa

These setting look wrong to me, i dont measure in kPa but in psi but in psi mine is set to -10.8

I would have them as the following

fuel off above 1800rpm
fuel off below -10.8 psi (engine will be pulling vacuum on overun)
Fuel off below 4% TPS
Fuel coolant min 0c

What you will find is that your settings at 0.8% throttle will not be enough because the throttle when calibrated correctly normally reads 1.5-2% when fully shut. The TPS reading will naturally move abit so 4% should mean it works correctly.

I changed the tps for 4% and the cut-off start work again.

Now I need to adjust the idle, when cold engine, afr its fine, about 0,96 ~1, but when heat engine, the afr is much rich, 0,86 at idle.

How do i can to correct this?

Thanks

You need to adjust your target AFR in the load cells that your engine uses when its idling. Assuming its within the 10% adjustment range it will adjust until its at your target AFR. If its still running rich and O2feedback is at -10% then you will have to trim the fuel cell until you get your target AFR

Thanks Mark i adjust the target afr , and now the idle it's fine, about 0,96 ~ 1.

For finish the adjusts , I need solve the other problem, my car when cold, only start engine and stabilize the idle if I press the gas pedal. When the engine is heat, work normally without press the gas pedal.
Do you have any idea what I can do?

Diego is this AEM EMS V2? If it is then i can give you a rough idea on the settings for a good idle.

There are many settings for starting that can effect how it runs. Idle TPS setting, fuel enrichment settings, idle target speed etc.

What about the idle section. What do you have your target idle speeds set as? It might be worth adding some more RPM when cold so the idle is abit stronger while it warms up
