I think I might just wait for their Infinity setup for 2006+, sounds like its almost ready to release.
It's also quite a bit more expensive as there's a module to send the CAN signal to the dash (this is what the stock ECU does). VSA (which is a POS anyway) and cruise control don't work with Series 2. It's also a lot cheaper. If money is no object, go Infinity. Otherwise the Series 2 is still a fully featured ECU and will work. I have one for sale btw.

Anyone know if hondata will offer a firmware update for the flashpro to support this? Or if they will ever offer an update? Aem infinity seems like the end all solution for ethanol tuning but its close to $2500 after all the sensors and add ons...
Id hate to spend that much on a new management system but if hondata is never going to release an option for this on the flashpro i might just have to bite the bullet and jump ship some day.

I talked to a guy here in socal whos running an 800hp integra on e85 and he says here in socal the e85 content is pretty consistent all year long. he said he used to test it every fill up but since its been the same every time for over a year he actually stopped testing it lately. told me not to worry about getting an e85 sensor and to just run two maps, one on e85 and one on 91. Can anyone else residing in socal confirm the consistency of e85 content around here?

Yep, all this stuff including FlashPro is "for off road use only."

This, in our experience is not a good idea. The S2000 fuel tank does not have a drain. It is impossible to fully evacuate the fuel tank. We estimate about 1-1.5 gallons are left when pumped about by the fuel pump. Thus, even if you drain the tank with the fuel pump and fill up with 91 octane (E10), your ethanol content will still be in the 20% range. Conversely, if E10 is in the tank and you fill with FlexFuel, your likely ethanol content will be in the 65% range. In addition, it is normal for winter versus summer blends to vary by 15% or more (in Arizona, the swing is even greater). A FlexFuel sensor will allow the ECU to properly make fuel calculations, spark, and boost settings ideal for the ethanol content in the fuel.
