Does 2001 UKDM S2000 ECU monitor EVAP?

I have used both australian and JDM market ECU's. I found that as long as I've got the evap purge solonoid plugged into the loom I don't get the CEL for that.
The USDM ECU powered kit car I've worked on had the extra errors you are getting due to the extra sensors used in the USDM. We just put a switch in the CEL circuit so it didn't attract attention. Didn't seem to cause any issues with running.
I believe the australian ECU's are the same as the UK/Europe market ones.

Found the perfect solution! Izze Engineering has developed an EVAP Simulator circuit board that makes the 2000-2005 S2K ECU happy and avoids all the EVAP codes even with all the entire EVAP system eliminated. Caleb Holloway is a genius!The simulator kit can be ordered from the Izze-Engineering website.
