aem also has wideband support. i used to have kpro on my civic si. one of the things i didn't like about it was the fact that closed loop operation can only be done with the oem wideband. if you used a aftermarket wideband you would need to run open loop. an aftermarket wideband would be used for datalogging purposes and nothing more.

i'm using the haltech ps1000 on my s2k and i bought the haltech dual channel wideband as well. so far so good. closed loop operation works great.

According to Evans in the other thread, it does retain some odb2 functions, but with an engine light, and does not present readiness for emissions testing.

Damn after 11 years, ems options just aren't that great, function and cost wise. Inhale the PS1000 and love it, just hate not knowing if some sensor is going off and messing with something, before it's too late. This doesn't seem to be an ideal solution. Maybe after a few years of trial and error.

someone already makes a plug and play for the 500, although I'm not sure who it is. I got a pm not to long ago from a member talking about it but it seems I know longer that that PM. Evans is working on his but he has no ETA. Hopfully he will have it my Jan-Feb of 2012 before autocross starts back up.

^Full Blown makes a lead to connect the Sprint 500 to the stock ECU for AP1s. OBD-2 compatibility . I'm currently looking into this option.

Ya... Kpro would be the undisputed champion if they got off their asses and made wideband feedback a supported option.
