Honda OEM O2 sensor reliable wideband?
Well, just like the topic says.. I've seriously been considering a flashpro, and I wanted to know if the OEM '06+ honda sensors could be used to measure a/f ratio for tuning. I recall reading in some threads that it's quite accurate, but anyone like gernby or anyone else care to chime in? If I don't have to buy a separate wideband, it's obviously preferable in the sense I don't have to spend more money. I can just datalog off the stock sensor and do a/f tuning that way.
Also, for running a test pipe with the flashpro, it's as simple as selecting a checkbox to disable the secondary o2 sensor codes correct?

I am very impressed with the OEM wideband. It may not be 100% in agreement with better widebands, but it's definitely good enough to tune with. Mine seems to read about 0.2 richer than it should, which seems totally acceptable.

Thanks for that info gernby. I think I asked it in another thread, and it was you who responded with a similar response. I have a test pipe and hondata on the way, so it looks like I'll give the test pipe and reflash a back to back test compared to a stock car as well.
I see you provided your software dyno info, and thanks for sharing that with the community as well! I'll have to read through a bunch of threads to get fully up to speed with the hondata, but it seems very similar to the older hondata I used to have where you had to repeatedly burn a new eeprom for a new tune (bigtime pita).
