Default Knock sensor help!?

Ok guys, I recently had a "friend" install my f22 into my ap1, lots of stuff was left undone and I'm chasing all the missing ends.... I just found that there is no knock sensor in it and plug is hanging loose.... My question is will this prevent my car from starting entirely? It is turning over but won't fire up... Thanks in advance

That sucks. They're expensive! Get the oem knock sensor. The china sensors are waaaaay cheaper, but will result in CEL's
