Kpro owners in California, SMOG?
has anyone passed smog with kpro in california?
i know it is odbii compatible but i was reading that another s2ki owner from another state was able to pass but the tech did see different codes being thrown out(possibly saying its an rsx ecu instead of s2000?)
id rather not deal with the headache of uninstalling all the kpro sensors, i have an ap1 with kpro/comptech sc
any insight would be great. thanks

This is where the kpro people will wash their hands from the issue and point to the print that says "leagal in CA. for off road use only".
I know its bs if you buy a car you should be able to tune it period.
The good thing about AEM is you unplug it and plug the original computer back in for smog.
imo what comes out of the pipe is what matters the visual part is iffy depends on smog tech.

Thinking about doing a k swap....
Will I still pass smog with Kpro? Do I have to worry about car being shut off and restarted then tested? What if they look for the air pump and it’s no longer functional?

The air pump is only used during cold starts. I have passed smog twice with a missing air pump (with the hoses mocked up). In order to even see the air pump you have to remove the front bumper.
