Isent 8700rpm kind of too high for a 2.4? What rods/pistons are u running and also what's the compression of the motor?

8700 (or higher) is fine for a stroker; I don't believe the car is his daily driver. One of the guys running a 2.7 litre stroker is revving to 9k and has 40k+ miles on his setup (granted, it's NA).

look nice super nice power for 6psi! - if you are serious about tracking it I would get this radiator:

I imagine the piston speeds and accelerations are going to be quite high... can use the equations in this article to calculate:

I recommend a vmount system. Otherwise a dual pass dual core radiator as well as a large oil cooler. I also recommend oil temp and pressure monitoring as well as keeping a close eye on coolant temps. Datalogging while on the track is a must and i also recommend the soon to be released canton baffled oil pan.

Looks good. I think you have all the right pieces to the puzzle. Good brakes. A good suspension. Id stick with street tires until you can address the common oil startvation with slicks and hard driving. And good luck!

Dont worry I do not take this post in a negative way. All the things you mentioned here are in the works, and have been considered. I know going into this FI is a lot more difficult on the track considering all the addition factors that come into play. I appreciate any information given.

Have you worked out the piston speed running a striker to 8700, sure you didn't mean 7700.
^I would like to know as well.

Yes. I highly recommend that radiator. Or a full vmount radiator/inrercooler setup. Doing this you will obviously lose ac.

The track is addicting. But you must first be sure you can keep everything cool before you attack the corners!

Setup looks nice, but definitely a lot of concerns regarding cooling. To add, looks like it's only an oil cooled turbo.. People have had trouble keeping their oil cool with just an oil cooled turbo, oil/water cooled is definitely preferable. Car looks good and makes good power.

Nice build, I will be tracking my 2.4 this summer as well, planning on a large oil cooler and possibly a accusump. Whats the compression ratio on this motor? post us up some dyno sheets, want to see the tq curve!
