Not much of an update but here's the intercooler core I'll be using and had time to weld up my merge collector.

When did you last look into this? I was under the impression that they stopped doing the mod too, but this November I heard from someone that thety were starting up offering the service again. I sent it to them in mid-November for the flexfuel/boost control mod and got it back in just a couple of weeks. I haven't tuned it yet but accoridng to Hondata it will be able t ouse a boost solenoid and flexfuel input. Mine is an '06 with flashpro. Call them!

How/where did you get the Koyo core? It's tube and fin right? I'd much prefer that over a bar and plate in terms of flow through the core to the radiator, but the last time I reached out to anyone distributing the cores they never got back to me. Although, at the time, Koyo cores were still a relatively new offering (like 2-3 years ago?)

Yes there tube and fin design, seems to have good results. I bought it from tfworks.com

Did a test fit with the intercooler a new days ago. Gonna look pretty good when it’s all welded up
