I like the clean factory look of it.

Would be good if someone would post the cal values for the Omni/Hondata MAP sensors.
A few months back every body was talking about them but this the first time I've heard of one being successfully installed. Being stock shape and fit but supporting a wider range is a great bonus to FI users. |

You should edit the title of the thread to add "Hondata/Omni" so it will come up in future searches. ;) |
Here are some scalar and offset numbers as well as a voltage vs pressure table for people using this sensor.
Scalar: 838 Offset: 31 Volts/kPa 0.32/30 0.563/50 0.926/80 1.168/100 1.895/160 2.621/220 3.347/280 4.073/340 4.799/400 For anyone using Motec i have those cals as well . you can email me at Omnimanlsr@aol.com thanks |
Nice

Just a heads up for people, The newest version of AEM software will have options for this 4 bar sensor to make life a little easier.
also for people currently using this 4 bar here is a voltage vs pressure conversion formula. this will allow you to build your own calibration table if needed depending on what engine management your using. 4 bar Scalar 838 Offset 31 Voltage to pressure (KPA) conversion P= pressure in KPA 4 bar = 400 KPA Voltage out/signal = 5 X (.002421 X P - .00842) Atmosphere equals 1 bar or 100 KPA = 5 X (.002421 X 100 - .00842) = 1.168 volts @ 1 bar or 100 KPA 1 bar=100 Kpa=14.5 psi= 1000 millibar last thing if your at a non sea level elevation such as a guy in denver (5000+ feet above sea level) your key on engine off voltage wont be 1 bar because of the elevation. but your engine management will acount for that so its not something to be alarmed about. |
Thanks Omni. You should consider becoming a sponsor on S2ki.

I am using the Hondata 4 bar and it works great. CHP just inspected my engine bay and didnt notice a thing
