6 Point Roll Bar Install Pics Two thumbs up to EVANS & MINITOYOTA

Here are the Pics. At first it was EXTREMELY difficult getting in and out of the car without looking like I had downs-syndrome, however I got it down fairly well now. I like knowing if I hit something or god forbid roll over I have a much better chance of making it out alive, however I probably wont be doing much street driving as I can only imagine the look on peoples faces watching me get in and out of the car, lol. I was going to do the swing outs but I went the economical way. I have a Personel 330mm Grinta wheel that is smaller than stock that should make it a little easier to get in and out of, however I was sent the wrong one, so I am awaiting the new hub......

As far as the Diff goes, it makes some clunking noise at low speeds during turns, and it only does it occasionally. I had new hubs put in, so I am not sure what it could be, seemed fine the more I drove it, I will keep an eye out.

I loved knowing I can dump the clutch and not worry about the DIFF instantly blowing up. I probably looked like an asshole though, as I was getting into the two step-antilag during the burnouts. I have to modulate the throttle better to keep the tires spinning without going past 7,500 RPM.

So it was relatively cool out last night. I did not get a very good burnout the first time up, so I launched off the two step antilag (builds 10psi or so) and I spun. It was not terrible, but my 60ft was 1.96, so def didnt hook. I ran 11.60 @ 129. The second and final time (ATCO is extremely slow on Gamblers night) I got a really good burnout, but did not launch of the two step and off course I bogged. I think it would have hooked with the good burnout and launching it off the two step. I ran an 11.6 @ 131 with another 1.93 60' I think I just need some more seat time. ( Or I may just be the worst f@#king driver in the world) I also thought the rear had 3.90s, but I am in middle of 5th or so going through the traps so I guess it has 4.10s. My Shifting seems to be keeping me from really improving my time......

I am heading back tomorrow night, hopefully I can get everything dialed in,

Wow that looks like its really hard to get in and out of. Props. Sorry if I missed it on another thread, but what diff did you put in?

JoeyBalls 09-26-2012 10:45 AM

I put the R200 diff in. Cost me $1,000, however I bought a The diff Kit, and had a lot of work done, so it's normally $1,200, which is still a killer price. It's Chrome Moly, painted gloss black and welded. It's amazing how the driver door bar is perfectly contoured to give me the most amount of room, hugs the door panel perfectly

where did you get the diff and mounting kit and axles ?

I have training for work on Sunday, and an engagement party on Saturday evening, so probably not :(

Here is a video from last night. This guy was really cool, anyway, I kinda bogged but you can see how he pulls away when I switch gears, lol. Towards the end I start to catch up.

First race was from a few weeks ago

1,200, I got it for less due to buying some stuff as well as getting a lot of work done :)
