AEM or Haltech

I’ll be selling my supercharger kit with injectors and ecu soon. I have a full Ptuning turbo kit with a Haltech going in. Any reason to choose Haltech over AEM, or visa versus?

Would talk to your tuner as there may be other options also

Any good tuner should be able and willing to tune on multiple ECUs....Regardless of that, without trying to start a huge argument regarding tuners, I'll just say this:

I've NEVER once heard anyone recommend AEM over Haltech, ever. Heard the opposite plenty of times....Take that however you'd like....and this is from someone running an AEM Infinity. I haven't had any problems, and it's served me well, but when I was seeking out tuners, a few of them told me not to install the AEM and to just go Haltech.

From all of my research, Haltech > AEM, just on support alone. I can't really vouch for the hardware aspect in terms of reliability, but I haven't heard anything about Haltech failures; plenty about AEM though. What ECU? Elite 1500? If so, be confident you have one of the best options.

One of my S2000s is at PTuning getting their turbo setup. I went with Haltech. AEM doesn’t look to have active support anymore.

I never had any issues with my infinity on my PTuning setup. I only sold mine to achieve transmission & engine control in one unit.
