All wrinkle black Vortech kit plus 928 motorsports v-impeller upgrade
Hi Everyone,
Just had my vortech kit that was sitting around for 2 years powder coated wrinkle black before handing it off to Jeff Evans for the install and the tune with the clutch.
Powder Coated who was local to me called K & S powdering coating did a excellent job on the kit for only $86. Just wanted to show off their quality job. Basically they did the brackets, mounts and spacers in mat black and the aftercooler, bypass valve cover, Track Forged performance heat blocker, custom intake tube & rad mounts in wrinkle black.
Had them do a small piece of aluminum in red and then had it welded behind the Track Forged plate to accent the NFR red vtec lettering of my spark plug cover.
The blower was done by Carol at 928 Motorsports while he had it apart for the high end rebuild and impeller upgrade. It was a cold powder coating process used so it looks slightly different but all in all still looks great compare to the stock satin blower.
Will have some dyno number's come this Sat when I pick up my S. Later.

Last engine pic stock before it's blown. Pic is just missing Alloy Craft's heat/fuse shield and cooling plate also in wrinkle black which I installed before dropping car off to Jeff.

Yep v2 sc blower. Should fit but won't know until I install it on Sat when I pick the car up. I'm really hoping it does since I'm running a custom intake setup and this would help by blocking the hot air from the rad fans.

nice. I asked 928 about the impeller upgrade but they don't do it for a V3 SCi trim blower like I have. My intake comes right off the blower using the Vortech plastic elbow, no shroud. Lots of hot air from the rad gets pushed right into it.
