Anyone ever looked at this as a starter?
Been really looking to go some sort of FI for a long time but damn money keeps holding me back haha. Never get quite enough at once to get a full kit.
I saw this on Ebay..Yeah I know... but thought maybe it would be decent as the manifold is good and all... That would allow me to pick up whatever intercooler I want and custom make the piping and then pick up an emanage and injectors and fuel pump. Should be able to get everything for a good bit under $2000 I would think. Would need a clutch too I know but would just be going with an ACT pressure plate and oem disc, to bearing and pilot bearing.
Anyone have any experience with it? I think I recognize the store name but not sure.
If not there is also the Godspeed turbo kit on ebay for $1999 buy it now. But would still need injectors, fuel pump, and engine management which would bring me right back up to $3000 before tuning. I am looking for only like 300-330 or so whp. I don't want anything crazy at all to sacrifice too much reliability. This is my daily driver so just want a little more power out of it but really want some more power down low hence why I really want a turbo kit. I guess I would also need a 5 bolt downpipe. From what I was reading the rev hard downpipe should work right?
Any input?
Turbo kit.

Would really like the more low end power which a turbo kit will give. I also don't have a whole lot of money to spend and going really low boost turbo I figured should stay pretty reliable and I could also sell my 4.77 gears where as with a sc kit I would want to keep them to help out with down low power.
Same with this kit?
Godspeed turbo

still gonna need tuning solution. i suppose you would get away with 3kish for that and the aem ems. as long as u install and tune yourself. still, i have no clue about fitment and longevity of that kit.
i feel you on low power, look into a used greddy kit. will be as much or cheaper then this and comes with eman ult.

Yeah kinda been looking for a Greddy kit butt everyone tries to sell them used for like $4000 for some reason. Brand new on ebay they can be had for $3800 shipped but members on here charge that much or more for used ones since some places sell them for $5000 or so.
its your daily driver, i think you should wait til you have at least 10k saved up before you could successfully do a turbo kit on this car. Theres no rush!! If you care more about your car then just making more power, you would wait :-)

10K would not be needed at all. I can get a greddy kit for $3800 brand new and an ACT pressure plate used for $125. Could easily be under $5000 for a new turbo ready to go but just wondering about going less expensive to try it out. I think I won't do it as I can't afford the chance of losing my daily driver for too long. I would love to find a non after cooled comptech sc kit for like $2000. Would def go for that for the increased reliability.
