S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Anyone ever looked at this as a starter?

Yeah def wouldn't skimp out on tuning!! Would def get wideband, boost and oil pressure gauges no matter what form of FI I go. Hopefully the S&P 500 goes up quick so I can cash out and buy a nice kit haha. Lost so much already just hoping ti keeps going up a bit lol.

The Greddy isn't the most powerful kit out there nor the most upgradeable but it is definiately a better bet than any of those ebay kits. The weak spots seem to be the manifold which MAY crack after 15k miles, but that would be likely warrantied by Greddy.

I wouldn't get the kit if you were planning to go beyond 300whp.

Yeah I'm all mixed up on what I want haha. I just want more power. SC would be nice since they are much more reliable but turbo would feel tons faster even with a low power Greddy due to all the down low torque. I think I will just try and find a used CTSC kit non aftercooled and call it a day. Saw one before for only $2000 but bought 4.77 gears instead and saved 800 or so. I think the 4.77 gears with a non aftercooled sc kit will be a ton of fun together. Can sell my intake and vafc and all too to recoup some of the money. Probably my exhaust too as it won't help anything and will give me
$300-$400 towards the sc kit.

I am going to get my car on a dyno soon, when I did 317 with METH my PSI was falling to 10, now with the EBC and holding 12 to redline I may pick up another 15RWHP, which is enough power to make you beat FAST cars, just not Z06 fast cars

dude don't waste your money on that kit. just piece a nice simple kit together with quality parts. i peiced'd mine together for under 5k TOTAL, with tune and all. my kit is just as if not more efficient than alot of the kits out there. my car is daily driven also, i have put more 30,000 miles in the year and a half its been boosted. check my sig for my setup.

Well for the first one for only like $599 for an additional $550 they said they swap the turbo out for a real Garret turbo. So then would just really need a downpipe, fmic with piping and engine management.
Fmic I'm sure could get done for like $300 with piping and another $800 for greddy emu, injectors and fuel pump. So looks like 2500 or so total including little bit here and there unless I am leaving something out. That amount leaves $300 additional for little bits here and there. Would probably need an oil filter relocation kit as well I would assume.

Hey also say you stayed with your first tune set up. No ems or bigger downpipe etc. What did that cost around you think? I just want like 300 whp and more down low power than now haha.

10K would not be needed at all. I can get a greddy kit for $3800 brand new and an ACT pressure plate used for $125. Could easily be under $5000 for a new turbo ready to go but just wondering about going less expensive to try it out. I think I won't do it as I can't afford the chance of losing my daily driver for too long. I would love to find a non after cooled comptech sc kit for like $2000. Would def go for that for the increased reliability.
First off, if you are worried about money up front DO NOT BUY ANTYTHING. You will really want to wait until you have about 5K saved before you think about installing any form of FI. I would never buy a used clutch, that is a REALLY bad idea. Your stock clutch will be fine with the Greddy as long as you don't continumally drop it or ride it.

I would recomend just being patient and building what you want not what you can afford right now. Unless you know who you are buying the turbo kit from don't buy it. Ebay is so full of knock off's and crap, you shoud be veryl carful b/c you absolutly will get burned otherwist. I sold my Greddy kit with 1000 miles on it with genuine Greddy BOV, AEM boost controller, wideband and some other goodies for $3500 installed and tuned. So the moral is if you are patient the time will come and you will be much happier with the results.

I know it seems overwhelming but you will eventially learn what is required if you go FI and the questions you asked will be answer themselves.

Good luck

If I were you, I would buy a kick ass manifold and turbo, it will be around $1,500-2000, this way at least you are working towards something and gives you something to look at while you slowly build your set up.

I love the low end torque but with the money I have spent, I shoud be INLINE PRO in excess of 450RWHP..........

Ok cool thanks for the input. Yeah I just need a little more power now one way or another. I'm not one to wait for things haha. Once I'm set on it I will have to get it shortly in one way or another. Is the stock clutch good for a base or 7psi non aftercooled ctsc kit also?
