AP1 Build with Kraftwerks Kit
#11
Just showing some progress that has been done this week! We received the intake manifold back, got the new harness laid out, and started on the charge pipes. Ran into clearance issues with the idea of having 2 10s so we'll have to redesign the fan shroud for possibly a single 16" fan, dead center. It's coming along though!

Just another update! The charge pipe on the hot side was finished up and I'm having the cold side re-done so I can delete that huge coupler coming out of the throttle body. Here are some progress photos and also some side by side comparison with the OEM Intake Manifold set up. Fan shroud should finally be here early next week and the car should be up and running mid to end of next week! Then hopefully the rainy weather stops so we can start the street tuning.

Super interested in this build as I have a very similar setup. C38-92 e85 and I made 490whp / 300 wtq on a dyno jet at 20psi. I have since added a Full blown IM and now have the C38R supercharger in my possession. I know what you mean with clearance issues on the hotside IC piping - super tight in there but I was able to get 2 13" spal 1300cfm fans in there with relays. You should join the Kraftwerks s2000 owners group and share there - would love to talk with you about the build!

Just some progress that has been done over the last couple weeks. Charge pipes are all done. It took a little bit but we needed to find a TPS off a early Q45.. So we have that and installed on now. Finally got a block off plate as we were having problems having a machinist make us one. I ended up buying the dual Radium catch can set up instead of having a custom one made. Shroud is finally made waiting 3 months since fabricators kept bailing on the job since it's just a one off plus it required some bending (not photo'd) as well.. Ran into wiring issues with Boomslang's jumper harness so that's coming back today so I'm hoping we can get this car finished up and have it start up next week as I won't have time to work on this weekend!

I opted for the radium single fuel surge tank with walbro 525 hellcat drop in. I am hoping that is enough fuel to power the c38R. I was running into issues with the -92 on stock fuel lines and ID2000 injectors too so I had to replace all those with ptfe stainless -8 feed and -6 return. Amazing how all this shit just gets out of control, doesn't it haha?!
Definitely post up in the KW FB group - this is a sick build!

Also, I am curious about your charge pipes. I have all the piping to convert to 2.75' hot side and 3" cold side, however, after doing a bit of research on piping diameter and boost level, I have opted to stick with oem KW piping for now. I am super interested to see what this thing will make. I believe the TTS kit runs a larger diameter piping and makes a little more power so I was hopeful that a bump up in sizing would help.
