AP1 Fuel Rail Tap Photos?
Does anyone have photos of where the AP1 fuel rail should be drilled and tapped for a sensor? I want to confirm I'm drilling into an actual hollow spot. Also, any tips to ensure I get all metal shavings out?

Use the fuel pulsation damper center-line as a reference. Make sure your gauge doesn't hit that valve cover vent line if its hard and you are good. It doesn't have to be perfect because you don't need a full sized hole as large as your tap to get a pressure reading. Make sure you flush it a bunch of times with carb cleaner or wd40 and shine a light to inspect if there are metal shavings.

Thanks! I'm actually just tapping for a feed line to a firewall mounted pressure transducer, but that looks like it will work

I will eventually change mine to a sensor to route into my ECU, but for the time being, it is there to set base pressure

I'm swapping mine out with the clean injection brand transducer. Hopefully it's as reliable as the aem one.
