Ap1 pfab eltm gt35r finally dyno

Mijae007 my other option is go over to 1700cc injector. I'm currently on 1000cc injector. Max my fuel system at base fuel being 70psi. When I was at .024 gap. My idle is smooth. At .017 my idle is still good but you do get a pop sounds but nothing bad. My idle is at 1100-1200rpm.
ok I see. do you have the previous tune saved at all, so you can pull both of them up and look at them in comparison? did he mess with fuel pressure at all?
I would look at both dyno tunes from now and previous when you said it was good @ injector dead times and see if they are same or not (not leaning towards this tho.) seeing as it should have been done on the initial, most probable cause may be the tighter gaps, in that case a hotter or next step down which would be the stock heat (7 heat range) may help. E85 is oxygenated and very forgiving, and your on e85 all the time soo I wouldn't deem the 8's as good cheap insurance seeing you have a lot of good performance properties in the fuel your running. this is something you can do as well. As long as it doesn't break up the widest gap is the best. You wanna start kinda high (not stock gap) but in the .028/.024 range. pretty much you don't have to worry about it "effecting" your tune. Your personal driving preference and behavior/street driving is the last step in tuning. Seeing as your at .017 on 8's I would start at a solid .024 on 7 ...wash, rinse, repeat.
Of course as time goes by on E85 those DW's are also gonna start showing signs/symptoms. I know its been quite a trek for you but would still save for ID's down the road. I had brand new DW's on a previous build and after a year just on pump they started acting up. I got my used second hand ID1ks from a guy in florida and they been in and out of two cars, mailed/shipped, put in a bag for a month and still run great
GL!

Ya. man it's not gonna effect the tune. Rinse wash repeat. Obviously if it start breaking up or u see lil quick patches of black usually a miss gotta tighten em. Depending on if ur used to seeing black or not, I know my tune is pretty clean. But others I see supa rich but Doesn't mean it's missing.
I'm betting those plugs and gap is just to cold n weak for what the E likes at idle. But if it's breaking up top then just gotta live with it tighter. That's why I said maybe try hotter plug with a in between gap, trial n error is really all it is tho man. I thought u said it was fine b4 with other plugs?

My bad didn't notice this was someone else's thread, sorry to. No not colder, go back hotter or try yours just a little wider. I just don't think it will help at same heat range. But deftly try it! Let it idle for a while and pull them see if there getting a lil fouled and or try widening em just a bit.
iirc stock heat range is 7 and I'm under the impression your at 8 now. So everything else above the same.
it could quite frankly just be a DW thing tho. Either actual working good that low OR spray pattern is not efficient
