Default ATI F20C/F22c Super Dampers

We've been working with ATI to develop a production run on these dampers since December, and the first batch is finally done! With so many F20/F22c motors now making tons of power and reving to and past 9000rpm, we felt this part was a must have in order to keep the internals happy.

List price $499

ATI Performance Products has developed Super Dampers for the new Honda K-series engine for Honda S2000 for both street and racing applications. The street version (Part # 918464) comes with 360° laser-etched timing marks and features a single serpentine belt drive on the outershell to utilize the factory serpentine belt set-up. Race dampers (Part # 918465) allow for the mounting of a dry sump oiling drive gear to the front of the pulley. All F-series Super Dampers exceed SFI 18.1 Safety Certification and are approved for NHRA & IHRA competition.

The serpentine needs to be there because the motor runs off one belt. We have the race versions in the works, but most guys on here would be after the street versions so we chose to do them first.

Honda motors are notorious for creating harmonic vibrations and that in turn leads to oil pump failure, bearing wear, ect ect. The harmonics are usually absorbed by the OEM damper, which is why they are made of part steel and part rubber.

The ATI super dampers just does a job better then an oem honda one can. OEM dampers weren't designed to take the abuse that we put these motors through. Ati have been making these for just about any car out there, but never for an s2000 unless it was custom ($700-$800) each.

Here is a chart that i found from someone who did a testing on different dampers.
