Counterfeit Greddy RS BOV

Counterfeit Type-RS Blow-Off Valve Alert!!!
Recently we received some troubling news from some customers who believed was having problems with their blow off valves. During the process of having it sent back for evaluation, we discovered a dishonest eBay seller zd102 ( & timereaction), selling counterfeit Type-RS Blow-off valves complete with GReddy logos and packaging. They were even as bold as to list the items as "100% Authentic or Refund." The appearance of the packaging and outer looks at a glance could even full a real GReddy enthusiast.

If you have purchased a blow off valve from this seller zd102, timereaction, or any unauthorized GReddy dealer, we highly recommend you please see our main Counterfeit Alert on our homepage news. There you will find easy ways to verify if you have a genuine GReddy Type RS blow-off valve or an inferior fake.

If you discovered you have a fake we recommend you contact the (eBay) seller and Paypal immediately for a refund. ( Please also contact us at greddyfakes@greddy.com for other options )

If you have any information on any GReddy products you suspect of being a Counterfeit, you can also contact us at greddyfakes@greddy.com
Shady Ebay sellers

In my time at greddy, i ran across a few replica BOVs but this one takes the cake, all the way down to the packaging. It's almost spot on. Be careful what you buy and who you buy from! Buy from authorized dealers only!

Announcement: Counterfeit Type-RS Blow-Off Valves

Dear valued GReddy customers-

Recently it has been brought to our attention that there are a few dishonest merchants, using outlets like eBay to sell counterfeit Type RS blow off valves to unsuspecting customers. These inferior, knock-offs have the Trademarked GReddy logo and have been packaged so well that even a GReddy enthusiast would have a difficult time seeing the differences. Please review the information below to identify a genuine GReddy Type RS Blow-Off Valve. (and if you do have one of these Fakes, please contact us at greddyfakes@greddy.com )

Although these Fake Type RS blow-off valves may look the very similar on the outside, their main goal is to deceive you and make a quick dollar. Their inferior materials and construction prove this and their use can lead to damage, premature breakage, and at the very least: lose of vehicle performance.

(A Fake Blow Off Valve with excessive boost leakage can affect idle, fuel economy, turbo response, and efficiency. When used with a boost controller, it can also easily over spin the turbo, leading to catastrophic turbocharger damage and oil leaks)

The best way to avoid being cheated is to only purchase your GReddy products from Authorized GReddy Dealers , however if you haven

I bought a knockoff on purpose a couple years ago when I had a turbo miata. I had a REAL GReddy and a fake GReddy RS and I can tell you 100% that the fake one would only compressor surge most of the time. The valve was so sticky it didnt wanna move. I had to open it up and mod it and lube it to get the valve to actually travel up and down...so yea. I did it as an experiement and the knock off BOV basically doesnt even work properly...so whats the point of having a BOV if it wont blow off?
