Big Bore manifolds/header for SC S2's with 3" collector
Hi all, Solid fabrications in the UK make a big bore manifold with a 3" collector. Has anyone run similar and is there a large benefit over the oem manifold (sorry header for the guys over the pond)?
Im running the HKS 75mm single and would get a matching 3" decat to complete the system.
Thanks for the info in adavnce

If i were sc'ed id def be interested in this. 3" straight pipe and exhaust showed improvements even on an na setup over 2.5". Plus, i prefer the deep tone of a 3" over anything smaller on our cars.

I've been advised by my tuner that I may actually loose midrange with a manifold like this, and that if I want to keep or improve Miranda I should go for something like the Toda

I have a modified version of this manifold.
I removed the 3" collector and change it to fit 63mm. Made more power like this.
Exhuast is a 63mm, 60mm then twin 50mm dual

TDI North are mapping the car, They advised that at my power level i'm actually likely to loose a lot of mid range power but increase at top end going to a big bore manifold. I would actually prefer the mid range so this put me off. TDI also said they have had seen good results from the Tegiwa manifold which i believe is a TODA copy and couldn't fault the quality so I've gone with that. Hopefully ill have the car back by next weekend so i can report on the changes
