Can ID 1000's reach 500hp on e85?
I'm looking to reach 400hp on pump gas and 500hp on e85.
I currently have stock fuel lines, id 1000's, walbro 255, aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, and inline pro fuel rail. Would I be able to obtain my goal by upgrading to walbro 450?
I talked to a rep at science of speed and he told me that pump is much too big for what I'm trying to accomplish and that my 1000cc's are too small for that power goal. Is this correct?
I thought my ID 1000's would be able to reach 500hp on e85. Do I need to upgrade to 1200's or bigger?
Thoughts?

500 has been reached on 1000's with e85 but with a larger turbo. I'm not sure a 3071 will make it. 1200's wouldn't be a bad idea honestly. May I also recommend having an admin condense all your question threads to one so you're not flooding the FI section. Will also making finding your information easier.

Yes. Just need a strong fuel system support behind them. Im running id1000 making 526whp on a mustang dyno. SOS fuel lines/dual pump surge tank. Aem fuel rail. Fullblown fpr.
My injectors are my limiting factor when coming to making more horsepower.

I'll contact admin to see if they can condense, thanks for the advise.

I would highly recommend id1300 cc injectors for e85. Or id1700 or fic 1650cc for e85 over 600whp. Stay away from 2000cc injectors. The idle and drivability on them suck espiceally on 91/93 octane.

The ID2000s aren't that bad. I daily them on 93 pump gas with an incomplete tune, and although they don't sit at lambda which is sacrificing fuel economy, the idle is pretty close to stock for such a large flowing injector
