Default Centrifugal Supercharger installation guides and links. Parts & Pricing sheets.

I've been meaning to post this for over a year, I've spent countless hours researching all this and speaking with Nate from CT-Engineering (Comptech) prior to purchasing my used Comptech SC.

AP1 Comptech Kit on AP2

Here's what I needed to do/know:

1. Verify that the blower unit is infact a Novi-1000. You will need a source a smaller pulley, the AP1 size tha came with that kit will not spin the blower fast enough for your lower redline. Science of speed is a good place to start based on how much boost you are looking to run. A 4.2" will give you approx 6-psi. They offer a variety of sizes for you to choose from but you will definitely want to go to a smaller pulley than what came with the AP1 kit to make the horsepower gains. $89

2. You will need a different drive pulley belt. $25 - $35

3. The air-box bracket. It is slightly different in the AP1 version vs the AP2, but can be purchased directly from CT-Engineering. Or you can make one of your own. The CT-Engineering one is $14

4. The Piggy-Back ECU with the AP1 kit needs to have the voltage output increased to 2.93 this can be done by putting it on a voltage meter that reads a constant DC voltage, and turning the small set-screw on the side of the piggy-back ECU until the metere reads 2.93 Update 3/22/12: (AP1 is 2.88)

5. Under normal circumstances, the fuel pressure regulator would need to be recalibrated to output more fuel / higher volume, but if you have the K-Pro or AEM setup, you will not even be using the fuel pressure regulator as part of the system.

6. You will still need to purchase a High-Flow Fuel Pump. This can be purchased from CT-Engineering for $135 -or- there are other aftermarket ones available.

That's pretty much it.

I've seen 470, stock internals, etc, i think that was 17psi. I think 14/15psi is the limit for my blower tho Novi1000... maybe 420hp if im lucky, But numbers and DYNOs vary so much you never know who or what to believe in my opinion. Just get a good tune, make sure it runs well and enjoy it. That's how I look at it.
