Default Comptech icebox with KW kit?

Forgive the ignorance here, but could this be a possibility? I really like the look of the comptech airbox that's supplied with their supercharger kits. Given that the Novi blower isn't in too different of an orientation as opposed to the rotrex unit between the two kits could you simply make an elbow/coupler that could adapt this to work? I know LHT likes to reposition the air filter to that side as opposed to the standard kraftwerks installation instructions, comptech also positions it to the passenger fender as there's an opening there feeding fresh air.

I think this would be a cool mod. I wouldn't be against making the plunge and being the guinea pig once I go to get my kit installed. Just wondering if anyone else has thought about or attempted this. If not, I'll report back in a few months when I get my kit installed. If anything I'm sure LHT will get it to work as I'll be sending my car down to them. Now just to see if I can get comptech to sell me just the box and cover and maybe that elbow for the sake of replication if it doesn't fit the KW inlet outright.

Thoughts?

You know ice melts REALLY fast with ice boxes right? You wont get far before you need more ice, as in a few miles lol.

It's just the nomenclature for their airbox. Sorry, I should've just said airbox in the title. After a second examination I don't think this is as easily feasible as once thought as the Rotrex oil reservoir will be in the way on the KW kit and that sits in the real estate where the box would go. Bummer. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to relocate this thing.

Yeah it's an air box, Comptech just calls it icebox.

Yeah. It's apparently quite effective though I don't have first hand experience with it. I have a Vortech unit which comes with a much simpler and smaller air filter cover...
