Connecting Rods
Pauter?
Crower? Eagle? I'm only aiming for 420hp can I just use stock, maybe send them out to be cryo'd oh and while you are here, tell me what pistons you would suggest and why. |

I would just go with Cryoed rods for 420 :reefer:
but you know you want to get the Pauter  so just do it! |

What do people mean by Cryoed rods? I can not find much info. Is it a brand or a type of treatment for the metal?

I don't know why this motor is even being discussed for opening up for 420whp, such a waste of money and time and actually risk problems. There is nothing more reliable then an un cracked F20/F22 unless you are really pushing the envelope of the components, which you are far from. People run these engines all day on E85 600whp+. 420whp is like a standard 10/12psi stage 2 kit of your fav option. DD that on a bone stock engine reliably for years. Stock rods are not the lightest but they are very strong.
