Default CT engineering kit Novi 1200

I purchased a CT Engineering kit and I love everything about it but I am trying to get into the 360-380 whp range. I am running a Novi Paxton 1200 blower . I am currently making 301 whp and 209 ft lbs torque. I spoke to CT and they said they do not stock any crank pulies or supercharger pullies. I also called science of speed and they said for the ct novi 1200 there is no pullies that thewy sell. So I have a competetion in may and getting that extra hp would be great , any advice guys. I have been doing my research as best as possible but I cant seem to figure out how to squeeze more power safely. I mean I can always run e85 and start making power through timing but that is risky.

I am in the same situation as you except I put my order on hold with CT until I find a solution. If I can't find one I am gonna go with the SOS kit.

Yeah that’s pretty weak to hear. I had no idea this was an issue with the new gen blowers on the new gen comptech kits. This was never a problem with the old comptech kit. SOS would seem to be a no brainer, except for the Carb legal aspect I suppose. For the CT guys, i'm sure you can have a custom pulley made through one of your local machine shops, or may have to send out if you have no good ones around. There is a ton of different pulleys out there for different blowers. If non is made specific for the CT kit, you may get lucky and find one you can retrofit by adding offset spacers, or even honing out the shaft size if you find the right offset but too small a shaft diameter. There is always a way, just have to research. I took a rather generic alum pulley I found off ebay and honed the shaft bore to fit a novi 1000 and then added several washers to the face and back to dial in the offset. I did this becuase I wanted to run a pulley size that wasnt made for the blower. It worked great.

I placed my order with CT over a month ago for a new kit. N1200 blower and "high boost" pulleys...Chris said I will make 11-12psi on my Ap1.

Won't any pulley made for the Novi 1200 (e.g. SOS) fit the comptech kit?

This is the impression I was under as well. I plan on maxing the N1000 on my CT kit, and if I want more power I planned on just swapping to an N1200 and raising the boost with the SOS pulleys

I think the issue is the mounting bracket used in the CT kit. There is some sort of interference?

I think you are correct. CT had me order a smaller pulley from SOS and ship it to them directly. They are going to put it on and then ship the kit to me.

I've tried to see what combo I can mix and match but it seems that a SOS pulley just won't work on a ct novi 1200 blower. I am going To see if ct can just make
Me a custom pulley. I can't even get a larger cranky pulley because they are out if stock.

It seems like or you have personally verified it does not work? I can send you a SOS pulley to see if it fits your Comptech kit if you like.
