Tru... I just talked a customer into going E85, hes on a Greddy turbo kit, made 270/280 on pump gas, and was dealing with Detonation... he had plenty of fuel left, so told him to get some E85.


Made 320 with zero detonation issues on a hot summer day

this is pump gas on 13 vs 15 on E85

turbo pretty well maxed as well, as you can see from power dropping off.

as for the heat exchanger, you dont need to buy the pricey sos name brand stuff. I bought mine from frozen boost. I'm using the type 101 heat exchanger and it's the biggest one they offer. a lot of ctsv and other big boy v8 use this exchanger with no problem. its 3 inches thick which I think is overkill for my 10psi but if I plan to go with a smaller pulley in the future, I dont have to worry about my heat exchanger

Smaller pulley and you will making the power. Dont bother with headgasket or studs
