Default CTSC reading low boost

So i went to get tuned today on stock boost with a greddy emanage.

Bad news is that its only reading the most at 2.5psi if that....whats going on....??

When we installed it..we initially checked the belts after we took it for a run but after that we havent checked it since..

I am worried something is wrong with the supercharger itself...

could it be ...

a) belt not tighten to its full potential even though it feels tight.. if not how tight should i have it?

b) i have a boost leak somewhere...

c) supercharger...if so would i notice something unusual if its not building full boost?

any help would be greatly appreciated..car runs great but only seeing 2.5psi boost..

thanks
gus

A boost leak that bad? the clamps and couplers looks secured...

could be the belt..when I bought the kit used...I used the same belt the guy provided...he told he it only had 6k miles but it was my own fault for not putting a new one...could this be it?

if it is a boost leak....ill send 20 dollars to you via paypal..lol..

Sounds like a leak. My car wasn't building any boost last time we tuned and spent 30 minutes trying to figure out why.

The reason? A coupler wasn't attached securely to the charge piping in my bumper.

What is a good measuring way to see if the belt is tight enough?

You should only be able to twist it 90

I had both problems. Loose belt and coupler.
