Differential broken?
 

I was driving on the motorway today,

for some reason I wanted to vtec the car cos there were no cars on the motorway.

2nd, 3rd to the red line then oops 2nd again.

after that stupid mis shift, this strange noise is coming from the rear end of the car

I guess something inside the differential is broken or damaged.

it is a rhythemical wining noise. and the noise is only there when I put my foot on the throttle when travelling at over 60km/h.

The noise isn't there when I let go the throttle and engine brake.

Has anyone had this issue? Its only the noise, everything else seems to go ok. I can still drive like normal...
