I like the idea of putting the gauges up there.

The string stays until I can get the IC sitting in the right spot. No point in welding on a support if I am going to need to relocate it...

I like the guages in that location as well. I did not want the A-pillar any thicker than it is currently with my tweeters, and I didn't want any of my outward view obstructed by the VAFC/gauges. I lost the dome light, but the footwell LEDs work great, and are switched with the door... It will look a lot better once the second gauge arrives and I can get some fiberglass molded into the voids... I also mount my Passport 8500 just to the left of the molding... Fits like a glove, is up high, and is in constant line of sight.

I just happened to notice that you appear to have an unusual amount of permatex copper sealing up your exhaust.

unusual amount = any at all

I was told by HP to use "liquid gasket" for the connections, as the pipes were ceramic coated (not a machined metal connection). The liquid copper stuff was the highest temp stuff I could find... I think its good to like 1900* or something stupid like that...

Should I have used another liquid gasket other than the copper stuff? Works great so far, no leaks. I do need to get all the "extra" off with a razor, though...

I would have used actual exhaust gasket material If it works it works, you just generally don't see people sealing up exhaust connections with RTV
