S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Does ECU pull timing in Open Loop like it does in Closed Loop?

In a 90F day:
My fans kick on at 207, temps spike (wtf?) to 214 for a few seconds then they slowly drop down to 200 and fans turn off. Temp slowly climbs to 207 and the cycle starts over.
With AC (ON) the car just stays at 217 the whole time.
Hmm, well maybe you have reached the threshold for the stock radiator size. Or your thermostat is fubar. If your going to check it, might as well replace it with a lower temp one such as Spoon. Any reason why you didn't just opt for one of the aftermarket 2 row aluminum radiators? I picked up a full Blown one off Ebay for $200 which was the same price as OEM, been running it for 6 years. Id say you are a prime candidate.

I don't know man, I kind of always thought that the OEM one would be enough based on what others have been saying for years. Plus with SOS heat-exchanger blocking the air flow, are we sure bigger/better radiator would solve the problem?

What were your coolant temps like over the boosted years?

My coolant temp when boosted were same as oem. 204F fans kick on temp goes back down. Didn't matter if I used A/C or not.

Hmmm. Okay, my next steps are:

1) Combustion Leak Tester from Autozone to make sure I don't have a blown head gasket
2) Use the front port to bleed the coolant system and see if temps improve

I'll report back on whether or not the port hisses and I actually had air in the system or if I indeed need a better aftermarket radiator.
