yepp,

another thing i wanted to mention is why i went with a t56 based trans, i dont want another stock trans lol. the 350z (CD whatever) tranny feels like shit when shifting it and the v160 is marginally better. and the aftermarket support for the t56 is immense. the tranzilla that i bought is good for 1000whp and can shift at any rpm i take it to. im super pumped to get this thing all back together. also what lsd are people using with their 8.8 diffs, something good for a track car, i wont be drag racing.

I want to go with the t56 for the same reason and I don't like adaptor plates, the custom bellhousing seems much like a much better option. I have a eaton detroit truetrac gear type lsd in my 8.8 no complaints feels like stock diff. The wavetrac is the best lsd but it's a little over 1000 bucks. inline pro just came out with a super 8.8 diff kit out of the 2015 mustang I would look into that also.

From what I know of the Doc, he likes to drive the heck out of the car. Not necessarily launching it, but he's not just putting around town either...

never really launched my car, but when i drive it i beat the shit out of it, it broke on the dyno at the top of 4th or 5th just as he hit the limiter
