A few more shots... Still need to get it up on the lift to finish up a few things before getting it on the dyno. I have to redo a coolant line as it hits the downpipe.
I killed the new WBO2 already. When the downpipe was pointed up, the O2 got drops of moisture shot right into the sensor... Amazing how quickly it died.

hey i like the bracket for the intake, nice work. widebands and o2 sensors go bad waaay too quick, especially on e85. i ended up capping mine, widebandless now...anyway, keep going!!!

I use nothing but E85 on my toy cars and have never had an issue with it killing O2's, and it shouldn't. It was water that was killing them. You could watch the water from the exhaust get sprayed onto the sensor. I was covering it until it warmed up, but I forgot ONCE and it killed it.

What?! So what are you supposed to do, a ton of water comes out every every time you cold start the car. Doesnt make sense to have to remove it every time you cold start the car? I know the o2 and wideband sensor bungs are usually welded in an upward angle (probably to keep it from sitting in water) but i donno...my tuner says wideband sensors go bad all the time, and noticed it more often with cars on full e85.

Proper placement. When the pipe was upside down (pointing up), the sensor was upside down and in a poor location.
I tune cars on the side and have for probably 15 years... I haven't seen many WBO2 failures other than high usage and never noticed any different with E85 and failure (it's cleaner and has lower EGT's).
