Very curious to see this progress I am currently tracking an AP1 with the BW EFR7670 on a full race mani E85 I had huge heat issues my first time at the track so relocated the EPS box and fuse box to fender also had to go without my coolant lines as the coolant kept boiling in the turbo and overheating the car ( I know this because the problem totally went away once I took off the water lines to the turbo. Added a ton of heat wrap and a turbo blanket as well as louvres over the turbo side. Headed back to the track hopefully this weekend to test the heating issue and am hoping for a smooth day. Cant wait to see how you do on track as my buddy constantly tries to convince me to go back to NA for all the track stuff I am doing now but I am convinced I can make the efr work!

I had to extend quite a bit with the help of a close friend and was able to mount the EPS box by just drill a couple 12mil holes and attaching that way the fusebox itself is kind of hanging on its own a bit but its in there so tight it does not move at all! Also the top photo is current with coolant lines removed and blanket added

I've dealt with heat issues while tracking boosted cars, which is why I've taken a lot of the steps I have. I have a friend here who's been tracking a turbo set up and he keeps everything cool and has OEM style coolers.
It'll still have issues to work ouu, but I think I can get it mostly right the first time.

You have done everything so far I didn't! So you have an amazing start your build is ridiculous. I think I have narrowed down pretty much all of my issues which is why I am really looking forward to the next OTD. I also invested in an x series gauge so I can see IATs and ECTs while on track. Looking like I will be rained out this weekend but I am excited to get back out. My build is going from street car to more race slowly, 6 point and spark were added this week so getting there.

It's actually a v1 universal and I got it for something like $150. I have a v2 on my STi and the only difference is the cooling ports to keep it warm, which aren't needed on a track car. I had no need for a v3 as the v1/2 works phenomenally already and the Radium isn't a particularly smart design, so you're really just paying for pretty machine work.
